Tour Itinerary
On arrival in the Suva Planina area, we get ready for the climb.
The guide gives the group the mandatory safety briefing, we shoulder our packs and set off.
Trem Peak (1810 m) is the highest point of Suva Planina and one of the most impressive mountain ascents in southeastern Serbia. The route combines beautiful forest sections, an open mountain ridge, limestone crags and striking panoramic views.
The trail starts at Bojanine Vode, at about 860 m above sea level. From there it gradually enters beech forest and climbs to the Devojački Grob saddle at about 1310 m.
Once out of the forest, the character of the route changes. We begin an open ascent along the ridge, and as we approach Trem the slopes become steeper and more exposed.
The ridge opens up impressive views over the surrounding mountains and valleys. The final section leads to the summit of Trem (1810 m), where on a clear day the view is exceptionally wide.
