This one-day walk takes us to one of the most striking and affecting places in Pirin — the airy karst ridge of Koncheto. Raw, narrow and inspiring, it is an essential stop for anyone who wants to feel the true character of the high mountains. We move along the Marble Ridge, surrounded by breathtaking panoramas towards Pirin, Rila, the Rhodopes and the border summits. We cross Banski Suhodol peak and finish by climbing Kutelo, the second-highest summit in Pirin.

Tour Itinerary
The transfer to Banderitsa hut takes around two and a half hours. We set off from Banderitsa hut and pass in turn through the Small and the Great Cauldron. We reach the col between Vihren and Kutelo, where we take a short break before the high point of the day. Following the traversing path we head for the Koncheto saddle and find ourselves in the heart of the ridge. From there we continue to Banski Suhodol peak, and on the way back we cross the entire karst ridge, taking in every top of Kutelo. We descend the south-eastern slope towards the Kazana shelter, after which we return to the hut, where a well-earned rest awaits before the journey home.
