Kayaking on Zakynthos island

Zakynthos is the place that will enchant your heart and ignite a passion for sea kayaking adventures. It is the third largest of the Ionian Islands, located off the west coast of the Peloponnese. It is one of the most impressive and world-renowned Greek islands. Besides its incredible nature, Zakynthos is also known for being home to the Caretta Caretta turtles, which lay their eggs in the bay of Laganas.

Tour Itinerary
We depart from Sofia very early towards the port of Kyllini, where we will catch the ferry to the island of Zakynthos. Once we have crossed, we head to our camping site (approximately a 30-40 minute transfer to the campsite) to settle right by the sea with a pool and a cocktail bar.
The evening is free time for relaxation.
The group gathers for a briefing and safety instruction session. We distribute kayaks and provide training from our experienced guides. The entire day is dedicated to kayaking, moving from one beach to another.
The evening is free for leisure activities. In the nearby village, there are numerous taverns offering local specialties. And legends abound about the bars along the coastline.
Briefing for the upcoming day: Today, we will conclude our activities by early afternoon, leaving time for a stroll along the shore, and for those who wish, relaxation by the pool. In the afternoon, we will organize a visit to the island's capital and the turtle center.
We load the kayaks onto the trailer for the next day. Once again, the evening is reserved for Greek gourmet cuisine and chilled drinks with a sea breeze.
An early rise, breakfast, and a cup of coffee prepare us for our journey to the Blue Caves. After two days of paddling, we are confident that you are ready to explore this enchanting place. Besides kayaking, the bravest among you will have the opportunity for snorkeling in the caves. We will reach Cape Skinari by kayak.
Once we finish paddling, we head for ice cream and beautiful high views - watching the sunset and overlooking Navagio Beach.
Dafni Beach is one of the more secluded beaches on Zakynthos. The beach is protected as part of the National Marine Park, and after sunset, access to the beach is prohibited to avoid disturbing the turtles.
During this day, we'll start early to get ahead of the motorboat tourists. Laganas Bay on the island of Zakynthos, also known as Turtle Bay, was designated as a National Marine Park in 1999. Here, besides turtles, dolphins, monk seals, and various species of water birds reside. It's just 4 km from the shore and the island itself. With its incredible sandy beaches where turtles nest and sheer cliffs with sea caves, this island is a small paradise. Of course, we'll take a panoramic tour of the island and return to the entry point. You'll have time for a short stroll along the shore or to snorkel.
