Come with us on a four-day adventure around Pelion and Volos. Suitable for people with no experience and children over 10 years old.
Pelion – the mountain of myths, centaurs, and incredible views. According to ancient Greek legends, the twelve gods descended from Olympus in the summer to rest among the greenery and coolness of Mount Pelion, to bathe in the crystal-clear springs that gush from many places, and to gaze at the azure sea through the pristine forests. In many places, the rocks steeply drop into the sea, forming cozy coves accessible only by water. For divers, it's a paradise, and you could spend hours exploring the underwater world. The coastline alternates between fine sandy beaches and large Mediterranean stones. Secluded beaches are abundant, offering privacy away from the crowds.
Volos – the city of the Argonauts. Volos combines all the charm of the sea with the mystical beauty of the mountain of the centaurs. It is one of the most visited and beautiful cities in Greece. The wealth of the region and its colorful history have left a significant mark on its architecture. It is definitely worth visiting.
Tour Itinerary
Early travel from Sofia to Volos, check-in at a cozy campsite by the sea. After a short coffee break and some rest after the journey, we gather for a safety briefing and assignment to the kayaks. Our experienced instructors will conduct kayak training on the shore, followed by practice on the water. In the evening, the program is free, with dinner at the campsite or in a nearby village.
We wake up, have breakfast, do a refreshing warm-up, and set off on today's adventure. The kayaking route is suitable for beginners and will be determined based on the day's forecast. Every hour, there will be a break so we can make your experience comfortable. Some will sunbathe, others might go snorkeling. After the kayaking tour for the day, we'll spend the rest of the time with a walk to Volos. We'll explore the coastline and enjoy a meal at a traditional "tsipouradika" (or as we know it, a Taverna).
We will once again indulge in kayaking and beaches. We’ll explore the unknown shores of the islands Alatas and Pithos, enjoying the tranquility and the unique little beaches where we will land. The evening will be free for you to enjoy as you wish.
For the most passionate ones, an early morning kayaking session by the campsite, and for the others, one last beach day. We’ll pack up and head back home.
