We are heading to a lesser-known and not so popular destination for Bulgarian kayakers – Evia Island. This program is designed for true adventurers who want to explore unknown lands and seas, discover new horizons, end the day on the beach, and welcome the evening under the stars. The island is located along the eastern coast of Greece and is the second largest in the country after Crete.

Here, we have discovered a small piece of paradise that we want to share with you. If expedition-style paddling is your way of enjoying an active vacation, join us!

The program is for intermediate paddlers, and it is important to have experience in sea kayaking. Single kayaks are given only to those with proven skills and good physical condition.

Tour Itinerary

Early departure from Sofia to Evia. Ferry transfer to Evia Island in the late afternoon. Accommodation at the campsite.

Rested from the journey, it’s time for the real fun to begin. We arrange the kayaks on the beach, have a briefing, and we’re ready to set sail into Poseidon's kingdom. Today, we will head to one of the most popular beaches on the island and make a stop at the "Greek Caribbean." Deliberately getting lost with our kayaks, we will explore the archipelago of small islands and enjoy the turquoise waters. Those who wish to dive should not forget to bring their fins and snorkel. At the end of the day, pleasantly tired, we return to shore and, like true pirates, will raid a local taverna. Overnight stay at the campsite.

We will make a sharp course change and head to the eastern coast of the island. If the weather conditions are favorable, we have marked several fantastic spots for paddling. If the forecast is not ideal, we will adjust our location accordingly. The coastline offers plenty of secluded beaches that are inaccessible by land, allowing us to enjoy peace and solitude all to ourselves. Overnight stay will be either at a bivouac or a campsite.

Once again, we will land on some of the most popular beaches along the eastern coast. Just a little teaser—one of them is Petali. That’s the beauty of kayaking: we can switch beaches at any time. This maritime region is famous for its stunning blue waters, reminiscent of Lefkada. Overnight stay options include camping accommodation or another bivouac experience.

Today’s paddling distance will be quite short to allow time for some on-land exploration. We’ve planned a visit to Sylla’s Spa Cave, where, like ancient emperors, we’ll immerse ourselves in the mineral waters. The perfect ending to our Greek expedition.

Important:

In the event of a change in weather conditions during the tour or other unforeseen situations, the guide may change the route or offer another alternative option to the participants for their safety.
If the program cannot happen due to bad weather forecast, the organizer will refund 100% of the price to the participants
In order to take part in the tour, you must be in good physical health and condition, and notify the organizer in case you have any illnesses or injuries
If the number of participants is less than the minimum 6 and the program will not happen, the organizer will notify all registered participants up to 7 days before the event

60 or more days before tour start: Cancellation fee of 20 € / 39.12 lv., as well as if there are actual expenses incurred for plane tickets, ferry fees, hotel reservations, insurance, visas, bus tickets, etc., included in the package price of the trip
Between 59 and 45 days before tour start: 30% from the price
Between 44 and 30 days before tour start: 50% from the price
Between 29 and 15 days before tour start: 80% from the price
Less than 14 days before tour start: 100% from the price
