Trekking programs difficulty

out of intro - Programs for people without serious previous experience in the mountains or for those who are just starting to get acquainted with hiking and trekking. The hikes are easy and short (3–4 hours), with little positive elevation gain (up to 300 m). There are no technical sections.

out of beginners - Suitable for people with basic experience in the mountains. The hikes are moderately long (4–6 hours), with a positive elevation gain of about 300–400 m. There are no technical sections, but basic physical fitness is required.

out of beginners+ - Hikes for people who have already gained some experience and want a bigger challenge. The duration is about 5–7 hours, with a positive elevation gain of 400–600 m. Steeper terrain and longer climbs are possible.

out of intermediate - More serious hikes lasting 6–8 hours. Good physical endurance is required. They include climbing peaks, crossing dynamic terrain, and a positive elevation gain of 600–800 m (sometimes over 1000 m).

out of intermediate+ - Level between the classic "intermediate" and "advanced". The hikes are often 7–9 hours with a difference in altitude of 800–1000 m. Longer and more strenuous routes are possible, as well as sections with a greater slope or exposed edges. Very good physical fitness and confidence in the mountains are required.

out of advanced - Difficult treks lasting 8–10 hours and elevation gain over 1000 m. Often involve aerial rock edges (summer) or winter summit climbs. Excellent physical fitness and reliable equipment are required. Winter routes usually require the use of crampons and ice axes.

out of extreme - For experienced mountaineers who want to cross the line between mountaineering and alpinism. Duration over 10 hours and elevation gain of about 1500 m or more. Includes technical edges, rock climbing and routes with an alpine character. Impeccable handling of crampons and ice axe, as well as working with alpine equipment, is mandatory.
